Laparoscopic Surgery

Also known as keyhole surgery, we are proud to be able to offer a range of laparoscopic veterinary surgeries at Patch and Purr Vets.

Laparoscopic Surgery

We have brand new purpose designed facilities and equipment to enable us to perform surgical procedures on your pets.

We are very proud to offer laparoscopic surgery (key hole surgeries) at Patch and Purr.

Keyhole surgery is a minimally invasive method where a camera and specialised instruments are passed through small (0.3-1cm) incisions in the body wall.

Why choose Laparoscopic (Keyhole) Surgery?

There are several advantages of keyhole surgery for our pets this include:

  • Less pain after the operation

  • Smaller incisions

  • Faster healing time

  • Fewer post-operative complications

  • Reduced rest post procedure is required

We will give you a price for your procedure and will ask you to pay on admission with no hidden charges

Spaying

We can use our laproscopic kit to perform bitch spays.

The cameras and equipment are passed through 2 small incisions in the body wall and the ovaries are removed (also known as an Ovariectomy).

This can be a preferred method in active dogs who do not like to be rested.
