Help - I have an emergency

If you have an emergency outside our opening hours you have two options for emergency care.

 

Option 1:

Call the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals (QMHA) at the Royal Veterinary College on 01707 666399, they will give you advice as required and arrange an appointment if needed.

We are very lucky to have the QMHA as our out of hours provider. The QMHA has been rated as outstanding in their latest practice standard inspection. Not only do they provide an outstanding level of care but they do it at an extremely competitive price.

QMHA OOH fees are as follows:

1st opinion consultation:                               £205

1st opinion small exotic consultation:         £102.50

1st opinion triage fee:                                    £102.50

1st opinion home visit and consultation:   £495

1st opinion euthanasia consultation:          £192.50-£242.50

1st opinion small exotic euthanasia:           £102.50

Option 2: (Commencing 9th February 2026)

Call Cambridge Night Vets (CNV), Granta Veterinary Specialists, Station Road, Linton, Cambridge CB21 4NW on 01223 608213.

Cambridge Night Vet  Fees are as follows:

Consultation Fee:                                          £190

Consultation Fee Exotic:                              £100

Euthanasia Consultation:                            £250

Euthanasia Exotic Consultation:                 £150
